Ram 2500 / 3500 control modules

A 5.7 or 6.4 gas truck is a HEMI PCM conversation: MDS, coils, eight-speed or 66RFE. A 5.9 or 6.7 Cummins is an ECM conversation: rail pressure, VGT, exhaust brake, DPF, and later DEF. Order gas or diesel the way the door sticker reads.

Early third-gen Cummins trucks may still use a firewall ECM. Later trucks move the controller to the fender. If the listing says firewall, it means firewall. Tow/haul limp, no exhaust brake on a grade, and a derate with “no rail pressure command” are the three calls we take most on these trucks.

Tell us the VIN. We program injection type (VP44, common rail, or 6.7 aftertreatment) and the transmission (G56, 48RE, 68RFE, Aisin) so the truck actually hauls when you bolt the module in.
