2001 Dodge Neon TCM

Dedicated transmission computer for the 2001 Dodge Neon. It reads shaft speed and driver demand, then commands line pressure, shifts, and converter lockup.

On the 2001 Neon, the TCM watches input and output shaft speed and decides when to shift. When it starts to fail you get limp, a flashing OD lamp, or a start-in-second — even after a clean fluid service.

How a tired TCM acts

  • no-start after a cheap aftermarket alarm was pulled
  • no upshift, or a trans that starts in 2nd and stays there
  • car that sets a crank-sensor code with a new sensor installed
  • OD light flashing with a stored solenoid or gear-ratio code
  • SRT-4 that will not boost

We program it to your VIN before it ships, including the immobilizer so the keys you already have are the ones the car expects. Lifetime warranty. Ground shipping is $14.95.
