2005 Dodge Magnum 5.7L PCM
2005 Magnum, 5.7L HEMI V8. Launch Magnums used 2.7L, 3.5L, 5.7L, and the 6.1L SRT8. The wagon sat on the same LX electrical system that the Charger inherited a year later. On the 2005 Dodge Magnum the PCM usually sits engine bay, driver-side inner fender — same neighborhood as the early Charger.
It fires eight coils, runs MDS oil solenoids, and (on later trucks and LX cars) an eight-speed or five-speed map. A HEMI that lives in four-cylinder mode is a classic PCM / MDS control failure.
