2016 Journey, 2.4L four (World, Tigershark, or SRT turbo). 3.6 Pentastar replaces the 3.5. These are high-volume family crossovers. Failed PCMs show up as a dead throttle or a van that will not shift out of second. On the 2016 Dodge Journey the PCM usually sits engine bay on the driver side, inboard of the battery / fuse box.
It manages VVT, electronic throttle, and — on SRT-4 / Caliber SRT4 / turbo listings — boost. Automatic or CVT lockup is in the same box on most of these cars.
