Ram 1500 powertrain control modules
1500s are where most “my truck died after a battery” calls start. Second-gen Magnum trucks, third-gen 4.7/5.7 HEMIs, fourth-gen 3.6/5.7 trucks, and DT-body 2019+ 1500s (including eTorque) each have their own listing. Classic and DT 5.7 trucks are separate cards. MDS on the 5.7 is the other gotcha: a truck that suddenly gets 12 mpg and sounds like a four-cylinder is often the PCM.
The module is in the engine bay, usually driver side by the master cylinder or inner fender. TIPM complaints on 2009+ trucks are real, and a dead PCM bus driver can look the same on a scan. We VIN-program so your keys work, we keep your old module, and we warrant it for life.
