This ECM is the one for a 2012 Ram Truck running the 6.7L Cummins diesel. Fourth-generation DS/DJ body. 4.7 and 5.7 remain. 6.7 Cummins adds more aftertreatment logic. TIPM and PCM talk constantly — a “bad TIPM” diagnosis is often a dead PCM bus driver.
